Meet Roger and His Dream Team
Dr. Roger Harrington earned his dental degree from McGill University in Montreal. He has taken continuing education courses in dental microscopy, fixed prosthodontics, periodontics, direct restorative concepts, advanced endodontics, laser dentistry, and leadership.
He is among a handful of dentists in North America using a surgical microscope in conjunction with lasers. Winnipeg Street Dental has the first dental operating microscope in Penticton used for microdentistry, endodontics, dental surgery, crowns, and bridges. HD video through the surgical microscope aids predictability for insurance approvals and makes procedures transparent for patients.
Dr. Harrington has returned to his laser “roots.” He and Dr. Paul Wickland were the first laser dentists in BC. He is currently using two new state-of-the-art lasers. The WaterLase® was the first all tissue laser in Penticton allowing for a host of other procedures, many of which allow for faster healing. It is used in conjunction with many crown, implant, and basic surgical services to shorten recovery time and reduce post-operative pain.
Dr. Harrington and his staff are very excited to be operating a fully digitized clinic, housed in a leading edge structure featuring Cross Laminated Timber and Structural Laminated Panels - open since March 2012. In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic archer, kayaker, fly fisherman, and snowboarder. He mentors a group of undergraduates, medical students, and
